Houseflies are very similar in preference to Red Eyed Fruit flies preferring early to no decomposition on food sources. They are found around windows, sinks, doors and in some cases can be found in light fixtures with Cluster Fly specimen. Found indoors and outdoors these flies are not terribly picky and can be seen with Blow Flies consuming the same food source should a more encouraging option not be available. Treatments for this pest require applications to exterior and interior windows and doors. Some heavy activity will require fogging to attic areas and a treatment at exterior refuse and compost areas will effectively discourage this intruder as well.
